Our camera is still broken, but we just had a very enjoyable weekend. Jeremy had a "team building" weekend in Sunriver, OR. Families were invited as well. We thought this would be a good time to have our first night without Carolyn. Friday, we took her over to her cousins' home. Oh, how she loved it. She shared a room with Ethan and Aidan, and, I think, enjoyed herself like never before. She had all these friends that never had to leave!
We also had a great weekend. We were given gift certificates to the spa at the resort and had a relaxing afternoon being massaged and pedicured (well, only I was pedicured). We were able to sleep in until 9:30! I could walk out of the room and not worry about how much trouble Carolyn would be in before I got back. We did miss her, but it was still tons of fun. We are very grateful to Gordon and Rachel for taking Carolyn in so we could have our fun weekend trip.
We picked Carolyn up this evening and she was so worn out from her fun that we couldn't keep her up until 7:30! This girl was not made to be an only child. She needs built-in friends at all times. Anyway, it was a fun time for all.

Break from Blogging
There has been a small involuntary break from blogging in this household. While on Laguna Beach some sand made its way into our camera bag, which made its way into our camera. We hope to get it repaired soon. I have a quote request into a camera repair place. I just wanted everyone to know I wasn't being lazy. I guess technically I could blog without pictures, but, let's be honest, you all come for the baby pictures anyway.

Baby Deer meet Baby Carolyn
These are pictures from San Diego's Wild Animal Safari Park. I tried uploading them back when we went, and the slide show never worked. I guess a better way to put it is I couldn't figure out the problem. I have since solved it and wanted to post them. I think they are really cute.
So that's what he does at work...
Jeremy returned from Utah last Saturday only to leave town once again for work training. Deloitte holds their training in some place called Skamania close to the Columbia Gorge. Anyway, this is what Jeremy does with time away from us...

Growing up
I was going to title this "no longer little", until I realized that although Carolyn is moving up in size, she is still just wearing 9-12 month clothes. But that was a big day for us. She still fits in her 6-9 month clothes, but she can also wear 12 months! I am so thrilled. Sometimes she looks like such a big girl--being all silly, trying on her daddy's watch.
Families Reunion
Here's Carolyn ready for game day! Now that we got rid of all of our TV channels, except those picked up by free antenna, we have no way to watch our Cougars play. It was a special treat to be in town for the game. We still had to watch it on TV because it was an away game, but Carolyn was able to root for the Cougs wearing her BYU jersey from Aunt Bean. It's a little big. My child chose not to grow since last Christmas.
More Parks
Three days after returning to California, Jeremy, Carolyn, and I packed up again to go to Utah. Jeremy had some recruiting activities at BYU, and we tagged along for the ride. I had my evenings free because of work events for Jeremy, so I took Carolyn to a park close to Joseph's house.
If you recall, Carolyn loves slides. She would ride them all night if we let her. Here are a few shots of her on a couple different slides.
